Each year in June, Branch #62 holds a Memorial Service at the Cenotaph in the Memorial Park. The color party, piper, Ordinary Veterans, Associate members, guests from other branches and the Legion Ladies Auxiliary march to the Park from the Legion Hall.

Wreaths are laid by family members, local councils, and others as part of the formal service, and local children hang crosses at the Cenotaph for each of the men who paid the Supreme Sacrifice. When the service concludes, the Legion and Auxiliary march back to the Legion Hall where they and any guests who may have attended have lunch together.

In November, the Armistice Day Service is held in the Kinsmen Hall with the Veterans and Legion Ladies Auxiliary gathering in the foyer around 10:30 A.M. At 10:50 A.M., the color party forms an Honor Guard through which the Legion and Auxiliary enter the hall. The colors are then carried to the front of the hall and following the National Anthem and Two Minute Silence are deposited for the formal service. At the end of the service, the Color Party again carries the colors and again forms an Honor Guard through which the Veterans and Ladies Auxiliary exit the hall.

A delicious buffet-style meal is planned for a date close to November 11th. A guest speaker attends and greetings are brought from various local councils, the district Zone Commander and Ladies Auxiliary. Other branches of the Legion and Ladies Auxiliary are invited and the event is well attended.

The Branch plans a steak fry for the spring and the fall.
